Our Story
Our journey began in 2021, when our founder, Anna Veli-Chasen, turned a lifelong dream into reality. Driven by a passion for bespoke facial and body prosthetics and advanced prosthetic rehabilitation, she set out to create something different. Since then, Engreco Healthcare has continued to grow, innovate and redefine what is possible in personalised prosthetic care.

2021
A Dream Becomes Reality!
On 14 December 2021, our story began with a birthday present, a second-hand 3D printer, and a dream five years in the making. What started in the loft of a two-bedroom flat in Portsmouth, UK, was only the beginning of Veli Group. Founded by Anna Veli-Chasen, our vision has always been to bring together science, technology, creativity, and compassionate patient care.
With a background in dental technology and maxillofacial prosthetics, Anna wanted to create something of her own: a place where specialist knowledge and meticulous craftsmanship could make a meaningful difference to people's lives. It was a small beginning, built on personal savings and determination, but behind it stood a much bigger ambition: to rethink what bespoke facial and body prosthetics could be and to help people regain confidence, dignity and a sense of themselves.
2025
New Home, New Name, New Beginning.
After seven months of negotiations, back-and-forth conversations and uncertainty, in January 2025 we secured a new lease in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. While continuing to work full-time for the NHS, Anna spent weekends transforming the space into a specialist prosthetics clinic, sourcing second-hand equipment and investing her savings into every detail.
We also embraced a new identity. Engreco Healthcare was born from the union of our English (Eng) and Greek (Greco) heritage. A name that celebrates not only where we come from, but also the ideas, partnership, and hard work building this business.
In November 2025, Anna’s dedication and expertise were recognised nationally when she was named "Dental Technician of the Year" at the Private Dentistry Awards 2025. From a small loft workspace to an independent specialist clinic, those first years proved that a dream, backed by persistence and purpose, can become something extraordinary.
2026
Five Years of Engreco, And Still Growing...
December 2026 marks five years since the beginning of our journey. Five years of learning, creating, overcoming challenges, and turning ambitious ideas into meaningful work. What began with one person and a belief in doing things differently is growing into a specialist healthcare business with its first employee, and new partnerships across the UK and beyond.
Today, Engreco Healthcare brings together bespoke facial and body prosthetics, dental and maxillofacial expertise, advanced digital workflows, and hands-on craftsmanship, always keeping the individual behind every prosthesis at the heart of what we do.
Growth is about building a team that shares our values, collaborating with healthcare professionals, supporting patients through personal journeys and continuing to explore what is possible. Five years on, our original dream remains the foundation of everything we do. With more people to help, more ideas to develop, and a future we are only just beginning to shape.
